How to edit the main page
From PermaWiki
The main page is composed of 5 areas: "About the MPG", "How to edit the wiki" , "Permacourse update", "Recent changes", and "Upcoming events". These areas can be edited by anyone. To do so, you must go to the appropriate template page:
- Template:About the MPG
- Template:How to edit the wiki
- Template:Permacourse news
- Template:Recent changes
- Template:Upcoming events
To find them you can click on the links above, do a search using the search bar on the left, or click on the <edit> links right after the titles of each section on the main page.
When you edit these templates, the changes you make will automatically appear in the corresponding area of the main page. You don't need to edit the main page at any point if you want to add or modify information! The only reason you'd need to edit the main page would be to change the layout, for instance.
