Heather is a member of the Montreal Permaculture Guild. She has worked on many different types of farms, from 20-acre organic veggie production in Ontario, to the oldest permaculture food forest in North America, in Washington State and many homesteads or community-steads in between. She is a graduate of the 8-month intensive Linnaea Ecological Gardening Program, where she received her permaculture certification. Throughout her travels across Canada, the United States and Panama, she has been inspired by examples of urban agriculture that are yet to exist in Montreal. She is passionate about bringing these experiences to her adoptive city.
