MUCS

MUCS (Montreal Urban Community Sustainment Project) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to creating an ecologically and socially sustainable development that will include:

  • co-operative, affordable, accessible housing,
  • co-operative and social economy businesses,
  • community resources such as popular education and social services.

The MUCS organization is composed of many work-group that work together towards their shared goal of sustainability, such as the Zero Food Waste Program, the Dining Coop, among others. The Montreal Permaculture Guild is one of the working groups of MUCS.
